Kerri Kenneson from Hooksett NH makes her way to Plymouth Massachusetts and the Plymouth Memorial Hall for Cage Titans FC 30 on Saturday August 27th. Kerri is set to face off in an amateur mma contest against Plymouth’s own and rising amateur star Kylie O’Hearn. Kerri has no problem fighting on her opponents home turf and in fact she’s looking forward to upsetting and leaving her mark on the home town crowd. Kerri has a karate background and has been training in mma for the last three years under coach Ed Carr who trains her out of “Team Link”. You would think coming from a karate background Kerri would be a better striker than any other part of her game but the truth is Kerri is a well seasoned grappler also.

Kerri won the Ammo Fight League 3 “Absolute Blue Belt Tournament” last October when she was only a white belt. A pretty good accomplishment from a well respected fight tournament that’s held and based here in the North East area. Kerri says ground and pound with lots of cage control is a big part of her game. She’s right with that since I did attend and cover her last amateur win at “PremierFC” in Springfield back in July. She was dominant on the ground and avoided any damage on her way to her second amateur win. Kerri looks to improve her 2-1 amateur record on the 27th for all to see. Dont miss this great fight between two of the top womens amateur Bantamweights in New England!
